Hello, one and all. Before we start cracking fun at social justice warriors, let us take a look at a lot of the terms that come up in the world of tumblr SJWs. A lot of this stuff may be confusing to you at first, and it may seem like SJWs are trying to reinvent the English language (some are, but that’s a whole other can of worms), so let’s get out of the way the more common SJW terms, shall we?
Cisgender: The state of having one’s physical gender correlate with their gender identity (identifying as a man if you have a penis or a woman if you have a vagina), as opposed to transgender, where a person’s physical gender and gender identity don’t sync up. This is a helluva doozy for SJWs: from what experience I’ve had looking into SJWs, they consider cisgender (or “cis”) people the worst of the worst, the most repugnant scum in existence, people that they wish to all die horrible deaths.
PoC: Short for “Person of Color”. Essentially, people who are not Caucasian. It doesn’t matter if these people are African-American, Asian, Indian, Middle Eastern, whatever: to SJWs, they are all the master race.
Heteroromantic: Basically another way of saying “heterosexual”. SJWs hate straight folk with a passion, so they claim to be “heteroromantic” to say that they’re heterosexual without actually saying their heterosexual.
Demisexual: The state of only being sexually attracted to people you are very close to personally. Just a fancy SJW way to say “bisexual”.
Transethnic: Claiming to be of an entirely different ethnicity to the one you actually are. Infamous SJW Redd, for example, claims to be a transethnic Hispanic when, in reality, she is whiter than an Irish albino.
Trigger: SJWs will claim to be “triggered” if they get pissed off, usually when someone tries to point out how asinine their sexist and racist rantings are. Granted, triggering is a real thing with people with PTSD, and it can have severe consequences. SJWs, however, likely don’t have PTSD and are just appropriating a medical term to suit their own dumb needs. Hey, speaking of appropriating…
Cultural appropriation: To normal folks, this is when something from one culture is altered to suit another culture. One of the best example of this is how the Super Sentai series was changed to Power Rangers when it came from Japan. To the SJW, however, this means you’re not allowed to like anything that originated from a foreign culture. Do you like anime? What about humus? Or maybe even the Romance of the Three Kingdoms? Too bad! All these and more were appropriated, so stop enjoying them you sick piece of white cis scum!
Tone policing: When talking about serious subjects, people tend to like it if whomever they are talking these matters with do so in a civilized manner. Preferably, one that doesn’t involve battle cries of “kill all men” and “die cis scum”. Good luck pointing this out to SJWs, though: you would just be policing their tone, because their oppression gives them the speshul snowflake right to call for your blood until the cows come home.
Problematic: An interchangable term with “offensive”, which SJWs like to use to describe things they don’t like. For example, one might describe Poke’mon as “problematic” because it doesn’t feature non-binary genders or same-gender breeding.
Institutionalized: When hate and prejudice is “institutionalized”, it’s bad. Otherwise, it’s A-OK. SJWs will claim their anti-cishet-white diatribes are perfectly fine because it’s not “institutionalized”, whereas if someone criticizes them, it’s because of “institutionalized” hatred, and they should thus check their privilege and drink bleach. Ooh, and speaking of privilege…
Privilege: …and here we are, the SJW’s conversational atomic bomb. Privilege is when, according to SJWs, you are lucky enough to be born white/male/cis/neurotypical/whatever. As such, you can’t begin to understand their oppression, so your argument is invalid. Remember, boys and girls: if an SJW tells you to “check your privilege”, you have won the argument.
That’s all for now. Thanks for reading.
